Johnathan Newman is running for state representative because he cares about our futures and, most importantly, what we do right now as our nation heads down a dark path.

Johnathan Newman has been a pastor in our community for the past 25 years. He’s a man of honor, integrity, and conviction.

There’s no time to wait. There’s no time to let others sort out these problems.

It’s time for conservative Republicans to take a stand and elect someone who truly represents our values and will help our community be the best it can be so our children, families, and businesses can flourish.

That’s Johnathan Newman. He can’t sit on the sidelines any longer.

Johnathan Newman was brought up by his parents with a strong foundation where he gained a love for our country and the rights that allow us to worship freely.

His own children grew up in our community where they learned the value of friendship and hard work from the great examples set by their teachers, coaches, bosses, and church leaders.

Johnathan started a church 25 years ago and is still the lead pastor today. It’s here Johnathan faithfully serves the Lord and has seen Him working through the amazing amount of love in our community as folks grow in their faith.

Johnathan Newman has bachelor’s degrees in religious studies and sociology from Union University and a master’s degree in divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.
